Each one of us has a road that we create
Unique in our own ways, no two roads can relate
As I look back
I look at the things I gain and lack
No one can master perfection
Therefore there is no fear of rejection
I remember those days that put a smile on my face
And traveling the world to a different place
I remember when I use to laugh
And not knowing what it felt like to have my heart torn in half
I looked upon the stars above
Wishing for true love
Half the time it felt like an elusion
I have suffered from confusion
However, now that I am bolder
I am one step closer
To a future that is bright
Filled with happiness from the light
I have friends and family
Sometimes they cause me insanity
But they will always be there for me
I won’t deny it, cause I will see
A future full of laughter
An unwritten chapter
I’m moving on from the pages filled with black ink
There’s no time to blink
Cause it’s not who you are that holds you back
It’s who you think your not, that set’s you off track
